went opshopping with the wynster today
started off at unsw, outside the scientia
we headed over to the Anglicare depot at Summer Hill first
and had no idea what we were doing and it was hilarious
$6/kg and no idea where to begin
the place is like a huge warehouse but only a smal section is open to the public
they had $30 bags of sewing stuff and i was so tempted but i already have enough scraps and pieces
the actual connected store was a rip-off though.
we both found some things and ended up spliting 2kgs
then we went to reverse garbage
and agreed it was the most random thing ever
at the door there were mannequin torsos, a stack of vinyl records and one dress up fairy wing
then in side it was just...everything - fabric, glass bottles, lanterns, old cassettes, books, wood planks
so random
wyn didn't get anything, but i bought two vinyl records for absolutely no reason other than the fact they were $1 each
by this time i was practically pissing in my pants and simultaneously feeling dehydrated
so we stopped at the maccas next to F1 on the princes highway
i ordered and finished a large big mac meal. glad to know i still "have it"
i love maccas. it feels like home. this is sad.

(sidenote: look cherry! no makeup+contacts! LOL~)
our last stop was the tempe salvos which was kind of like savers in melbourne but a lot less awesome
we concluded that we missed savers
wyn got some goblets (of fire LOL!) and other stuff and i got some more stuff as well
all in all, a fun day but melbourne's opshopping culture is definitely better
i might give castle hill and baulkham hill vinnies a go this week
